Hour House in Charleston, IL is looking for an experienced clinician to join our management team as Healthcare Coordinator. The Healthcare Coordinator is responsible for the supervision of a medically monitored detoxification unit and health policies agency wide. Responsibilities would include a limited amount of direct clinical service to clients, clinical supervision of a team of 2-4 medical staff, supervision of 7-8 direct service staff, program planning and development, staff training and supervision, and quality assurance.
As a member of the management team this employee will participate in overall agency administrative tasks such as strategic planning, policy development, agency staff training, problem solving and evaluation, assurance of compliance with evidence-based practices and accreditation and licensing standards. The right candidate will understand substance use disorders as illnesses and be able to model this philosophy in their work with other healthcare providers, staff, and clients. Excellent verbal and written communication is required.
Qualifications for this position are clinical counseling or social work licensure, alcohol and other drug counseling certification, licensed MSW, LCPC, RN, LPN, MD, or PhD. Hour House offers excellent benefits and compensation with opportunities for advancement.
