Hour House in Charleston, IL is seeking to hire Recovery Oriented System of Care (ROSC) Council Coordinators to serve in leadership positions responsible for the agency’s Recovery Oriented System of Care (ROSC) Councils.
There are six Councils with an individual ROSC Coordinator assigned to each Council. ROSC Council Coordinators will primarily work in one of the following counties or combination of counties: Coles, Clark-Cumberland, Douglas, Edgar, Effingham, Moultrie-Shelby.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities include assisting communities in conducting needs assessments and implementing activities to address community needs to support those in recovery from substance use disorder.
Qualifications and Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary as candidates will represent the agency at the local, county and state level in the advancement of agency programming and contract compliance. Candidates must be able to pass all background checks, have a reliable vehicle, and a valid driver’s license. A Master’s or Bachelor's degree in counseling, public policy, social work, health, psychology, or a closely related field with related experience in public relations, community action and/or recovery supports preferred. In addition, the right candidate will understand substance use disorder as an illness and be able to model this philosophy in their community outreach. Work will be hybrid with a combination of work from home, community-based work, and office days.

Pay: $44,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday

Experience: Uninterrupted Sobriety: 2 years (Required)
