Women's Residential (SUD) Treatment Coordinator

Hour House in Charleston, IL has an urgent need for an experienced clinician to join our management team as the Women’s Residential Substance Use Disorder Treatment Coordinator. 


Responsibilities 

The Coordinator’s responsibilities include a limited amount of direct clinical service to clients, clinical supervision, discipline and performance evaluation of a team of 2-5 clinicians including equine therapy staff, and 7-8 hourly direct service staff, program planning and development, staff training, and quality assurance. As a member of the management team this employee will participate in overall agency administrative tasks such as strategic planning, policy development, agency staff training, problem solving and evaluation, assurance of compliance with evidence-based practices and accreditation and licensing standards.


Qualifications and Skills

The qualifications needed for this position include a Master’s in counseling, psychology, social work or rehabilitation, licensure as a professional counselor or social worker and/or substance use disorder certification, and a minimum of 3 years full time clinical experience. We will consider a candidate with a bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, rehabilitation or social worker with strong history of experience in SUD treatment services. The right candidate will understand substance use disorder as an illness and be able to model this philosophy in their supervision and treatment provision.

Entry level candidates considered. Excellent verbal and written communication required. Candidates must hold substance use disorder counselor certification from ICB, Inc. or licensure as an LPC, LCPC, LSW, or LCSW.


Job Type: Full-time  


Pay: $42,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year

Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, On call 


COVID-19 considerations: Vaccinations are required as well as mask wearing. Exemptions will be accepted if legitimate and followed up with weekly negative Covid testing results submitted to HR without prompt.  


Education:  Bachelor's (Required) 


Experience:  

Supervising Experience: 1 year (Required) 

Substance Abuse Counseling: 1 year (Preferred) 


License/Certification:  

Driver's License (Required) 

SA Certification or Licensure as MSW (Required)
