Hour House, seeks to hire an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our medical team in a medically monitored detoxification program for adults recovering from Substance Use Disorder.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide triage and simple first aid, monitor vital signs, administer urine drug tests, provide medical screenings, make medications available to clients and assist with admissions to the program. The EMT will consult with the Medical Director and Healthcare Coordinator about presenting and emerging medical issues in order to prevent, or treat medical complications during intoxication, withdrawal or early recovery. We are looking for a person with a non-judgmental, professional attitude who will provide kind and consistent care to people trying to get better.
We are currently seeking a full-time team member to work 12-hour shifts from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM. This position requires availability to work every other weekend as part of the regular schedule.
