Monitor

Hour House seeks to hire Residential Monitors (Evening shift & Midnight Shift). This position requires that staff be awake throughout the shift. Preference will be given to those that have experience working in social services or are working towards a degree in a related field.  Hour House provides treatment services for men and women with Substance Use Disorders in 4 residential locations, three in Charleston and one in Lerna. 


Responsibilities: 

Monitors ensure the safety of the clients and facility, provide emotional support to clients, enforce program structure, perform housekeeping tasks, transport clients to work in agency vehicles, assist in the admission of people seeking help, and complete documentation regarding the clients in an electronic medical record. Dependability in attendance is very important.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time  


Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Schedule:  8 hour shift, Holidays, Monday to Friday, Night shift, Weekend availability 


Supplemental Pay:  Bonus pay 


COVID-19 considerations: All staff and clients are required to wear a mask at all times and maintain distance of 6 ft when possible. All staff must either be vaccinated or provide proof of exception and test weekly providing results of negative test.  


Education:  High school or equivalent (Required)  


License: Driver's License (Required) 


Shift availability:  

Evening Shift (Preferred)

Midnight Shift (Preferred)
