Monitor (Overnight Shift:12am-8am)

Hour House provides treatment services for men and women with Substance Use Disorders. We are hiring monitors to work the overnight shift (12a-8a) (part or full- time). Preference will be given to those that have experience working in social services or are working towards a degree in a related field. 


Responsibilities:

Monitors ensure the safety of the clients and facility, provide emotional support to clients, enforce program structure, perform housekeeping tasks, transport clients to work in agency vehicles, assist in the admission of people seeking help, and complete documentation regarding the clients in an electronic medical record. Ability to drive agency car is imperative, must be 21 years of age, licensed and hold insurance. Dependability in attendance is very important.

Qualifications:  

  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in crisis intervention and conflict management
  • Background in social work or related field
  • Ability to supervise and manage behavior effectively
  • Knowledge of childcare and behavior management techniques
  • Familiarity with case management and addiction counseling
  • First aid certification and medication administration experience


Job Types: Full-time, Part-time  


Pay: starting at $18.00 per hour

Education:  High school or equivalent (Required)
